 Process Metallurgist – Melt Shop

 

 

 

Allegheny Ludlum Corporation, a world leader in the technology, production and marketing of specialty materials, is seeking a Process Metallurgist at its Brackenridge, Pennsylvania plant in the melt shop.

 

The idea candidate will have experience in melting, refining and casting of stainless and high temperature steels.  The position focus will be in the areas of process improvement and cost control in a total melt shop environment.  A bachelor’s degree in metallurgy or materials science or a related engineering discipline is required.

 

The candidate should have a strong command of the AOD and Casting processes.  Candidate should also have strong communication, computer and statistical skills. The successful candidate must have a proven record of performance in the above areas and demonstrate the ability to promote to increased levels of responsibility within the organization.
