This position reports to the Director of Supply Planning Group Stationery. The Manager of OEM Logistics/Supply Planning will be responsible for ensuring the timely supply of all BIC OEM Stationery products, and components taking into consideration continent demand, capacity constraints, product shelf life, component sources, seasonality, lead times, shipment times and inventory targets.

The Manager of OEM Logistics/Supply Planning will work collaboratively with the Stationery Category, BIC Shanghai Sourcing Office, BIC’s Supply Chains, Marketing Groups, Suppliers, and OEMs across Continent and Country level in support of optimum Customer Service Levels and optimum Inventory Carrying Levels.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for customer service levels for Stationery OEM products for BIC on a global level.
• Ability to work on multiple global projects on international cross functional teams, and implement these projects throughout BIC.
• Work closely with Continent Supply Chains and the BIC Shanghai Sourcing Office to provide organization visibility for the Stationery OEM’s supply flow, lead times, Inventories, and capacities.
• Initiate capacity reviews to determine when capacity needs to be increased.
• Responsible for optimizing Inventory levels and projecting Inventory levels for Stationery OEMs for BIC globally.
• Put in place global MPP/S&OP process for BIC’s Stationery OEMs.
• Establish rules and guidelines for planning and logistics at the global level, and ensure that they are followed.
• Continuously evaluate, measure, and strive to improve the global planning for BIC’s Stationery OEMs.
• Responsible for creating all new product ramp up production plans for BIC’s Stationery OEM products.
• Participate in the ongoing effort of SKU rationalization, and inventory management.
• Work with BIC’s GPS Team to gain “Global Visibility” of all data and assist with the implementation of Manugistics Supply Planning Tool and MRP as needed.
• Assist, support, and work with Continent/Country Supply Chain Teams to improve all aspects of BIC Supply Chain Operations.
• Ability to listen, learn, teach, mentor, and exemplify the BIC Values throughout BIC Internationally.



Qualifications

The Manager of OEM Logistics/Supply Planning must have a minimum of 7-10 years experience, with solid supply chain experience in supply/capacity planning, materials, and inventory management in a high volume consumer products company. The incumbent must possess strong people, computer, analytical and communication skills to work effectively across BIC functions globally. International travel is required. Experience working with Cognos, and Manugistics Demand/Supply Planning software would be highly desirable. Requires a Bachelor’s degree. An MBA and prior supervisory experience would be preferred.
