The Shift Mechanic/Millwright is responsible for performing hands-on mechanical work for the repair and upkeep of existing machinery and for the installation of new equipment. There is a wide variety of manufacturing equipment included in this scope of work. This person also will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of machinery components.JOB REQUIRMENTS:• Industrial millwright experience. • Experience with conveyors, packaging equipment, and pneumatic conveying equipment. • Ability to MIG weld. • High degree of initiative, creativity, self-supervision, and respect for the safety rules and procedures • High attention to detail • Good interpersonal skills and able to work well as a member of a team. • Ability to read and work from blue prints • Shop math expertise • Knowledge of machining principles-rework/rebuild • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills • High mechanical aptitude • Good oral and written communication skills
