Mold Maintenance and Repair

We currently have a position open for a Mold Maintenance and Repair person at our manufacturing facility located in Harvard, Illinois.  The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:Fully support the molding floor operations by troubleshooting and repairing tooling related issues, and performing preventative maintenance, in a timely manner, to minimize tool related downtime on the production floor.Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and modifications on injection molds.Fabricate tools, fixtures, and components, to support manufacturing.Set up and maintain a complete preventative maintenance program on all tooling.  Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels for tool shop supplies and mold components.Set up and operate all machine shop equipment; Lathes, Mills, Drills, EDM, Tig Welder, Ultra  Sonic Polisher, Surface Grinders, performing difficult machine operations to precise specifications.Studies tool and engineering drawings, sketches, blue prints, templates, models, or description manuals on workpiece, to visualize machining required, and plan sequence of operations.Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the department, and throughout the organization. with a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

To successfully perform this job, individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills.  Candidate must be organized and work well independantly, as well as part of a team.  Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
