Position Purpose:

This position is responsible for setting up molds used in production of products. Responsiblity includes installing or adjusting inserts and cleaning of producton mold tooling on the bench and or the molding machines as required to maintain production in a timely manner.

This position is a technical position which take general work driection from Manger of Tooling and Mold Maker A. 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a high school deploma or equivalent technical training with 3 to 5 years experience in related feild.  Skills required include technical skills to disassemble, clean and repair molds and mold tooling.  Ability to lift and carry between 10 - 50 lbs  with frequent bending, reaching and twisting.  Ability to use common hand tools, manual machine tools, drills, mills, grinders, hand shafts, gauges, templates, measuring and inspeciton equipment as needed. 

Abitlity to disassemble and assemble any injection mold exactly the same way and to asses the correct tool for the job.  Must be able to identify mold tooling problems during set up and communicate problems or issues to the appropriate personnnel.  Also assist other mold makers in building of production, prototype and mold components as directed.
