Mold Set Up Technician - SW

JOB TITLE/SHIFT: Mold Setup Technicians, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift

     

DEPARTMENT:  Production

 

DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR: Shift Supervisor

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

 

1. Set-up machines according to production plans by following production procedures and quality procedures.

 

2. Attach all auxiliary equipment to molds and machines as required.

 

3. Start molding machines according to set-up condition sheets and any special instructions.

 

4. Ensure quality parts at every start-up by working with quality control department.

 

5. Set-up entire production area as required.

 

6. Must be able to learn and operate overhead crane, forklift, and use set-up tools.

 

7. Must be able to troubleshoot and solve any set-up problems that are encountered.

 

8. Minor duties to include: operate machines, mix material, secondary production (assembly), as directed by the shift supervisor.

 

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months-molding machine operator experience.
