Position Description:

We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.Job Summary: National Account Manager (NAM) is responsible for driving and coordinating sales efforts at key industry specific accounts. A target account list will be determined by the NAM in conjunction with their Manager. The NAM will lead and coordinate efforts among Sales, Marketing, MarComm, Product Development, and Distribution at these target accounts. Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university. An advanced degree in business or a related technical field will distinguish the most desirable candidate. At least five years of selling an industrial or technical product line. In addition, at least three years experience developing and selling to names national or global accounts in these industries is preferred. 50% to 70% travel required in this position Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Developing target account listBuild and maintain relationships with Key National Account personnel. Developing, implementing and managing a focused sales program at target accountsDevelop business plans to support National Distributors Corporate Accounts Programs.Lead and manage Brady sales teams at the assigned accounts Product specification Provide relevant feedback to Category Managers regarding Brady's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats within the designated industry. (SWOT Analysis)NAM is responsible for detecting trends and opportunities and will provide an annual SWOT analysis of designated industry.Assist in developing sales, channel and MarComm strategies to ensure penetration and market share growth for designated industry Considered the industry "go to" for Sales, Marketing, MarComm, and Product Development for designated industryResponsible for industry specific trade shows, literature, and product development. Identify and participate in relevant industry groups and organizations to help develop and implement strategy Each fiscal year an evaluation of the selected accounts and associated opportunities will be done, selection and deletion decisions will be made by the NAM and NAM Manager.
