Position Description:

Norandex Building Material Distribution is a $800 million unit of Saint-Gobain & is one of the largest distributor of vinyl siding in the U.S. The company operates 150 branches in 37 states & sells exterior building products to new home builders & remodeling contractors in their respective territories. Primary products include vinyl siding; vinyl, wood & alum windows/doors; decking, fencing, & rain carrying gear. The Incumbent for this position would need to be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, especially Excel, Access and Word. Good communication skills as well as critical thinking skills are required. Must be a team player and adaptable to changing priorities. This position reports directly to the National Account Specialist. In addition, this position will provide administrative and special project support to other National Account team members.

Qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:• Update The Home Depot database with new store information, fax numbers and maintenance as required.• Assist in processing Home Depot Special Orders when needed as well as assisting with answering Home Depot phone line.• Maintain and update Branch database within existing structure. Track Manager movement and branch location changes. Update Company phone, fax, address listings for publication.• Maintain National Account Program. Calculate quarterly rebates and profitability reports as needed. Work with Accounting Department to ensure necessary accruals are in place.• Run Monthly reports for both National Account sales and Installation Sales.• Maintain Installation Program files and information. Set up new installation accounts as well as updating current files for insurance and worker’s compensation. • Special projects as defined.• Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements (Education & Experience):• Ability to create strong working relationship with various departments and distribution employees.• The incumbent is required to work independently, with minimal supervision.• Requires outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers, and outside parties. • Must be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines despite frequent interruptions.• Must have strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including Excel, Access and Microsoft Word.
