National Service Manager

Well-established privately-held waste and recycling manufacturer seeks an experienced management professional to lead its local service department as the SERVICE MANAGER. 

QUALIFICATIONS sought include, but are not limited to:



 5+ years progressive management experience [within a service industry STRONGLY preferred];Proven ability to lead direct reports and respective subordinates in multi-location environment ;Knowledge of manufacturing practices and related operational tools [e.g. lean enterprise, job costing and related analyses, etc.];Proficieny with computer software applications in MicroSoft Suite;Strong cusomter service related skills/inside sales

 

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES inlcude:
Daily interaction with regional service managers on service requests, on-time performance, labor costs, personnel development, training, compliance, and P&L.Auditing of all service invoices for accuracy, correct pricing, timely invoicing, reasonable labor costs, etc.Support National Service Director in projects for implementation of continuous improvement processesDaily interaction with local service dispatchersCoordination of safety initiaives with Safety and HR Managers for service staffPeriodic inspection and maintenance of DOT records


COMPENSATION includes, but is not limited to:

Base salary + service-performance related bonus
