Melco pioneered the exciting world of online digital embroidery.  We are now looking to extend our lead by building the next generation of digital embroidery based products and services.

We are looking for a self motivated, outstanding Web engineer who will join a team that will work closely with our experienced team to deliver web based applications and presentation components for our valued customer base.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with product managers, interactive developers, customer support, customers, sales and other members of the project team in requirements specification, feasibility analysis, engineering analysis and launch planning.

Design and development of web-based application interfaces and Middleware APIs.

Develop front-end and Middleware APIs to support e-Commerce products.

Design and Development of highly dynamic and interactive Web2.0 web-based UIs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of commercial web development

3+ years of web development in C#

Experience with .NET framework

Experience with .SQL Server

Advanced abilities in SQL and Data Modeling

Experience with ASPX application development

Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills

Full life cycle product development experience

Good communication and personal skills:  ability to interact and work well with members of other functional groups in a project team and a strong sense of project ownership

Desire and ability to thrive in a fast paced, growing, dynamic environment

EDUCATION:

BS/MS in Computer Science

OTHER EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

Cross-browser HTML, CSS and DOM manipulation

Expert ability with JavaScript

Experience in consumer web site development

Experience in content management development

Experience in digital media online retail experience is a plus

CSS/XML experience is also a plus
