Newly Created Retail Finance Manager Opportunity

PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Manage all new business and real estate and capital special projects for the retail division.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*  Develop and consolidate the annual and long range capital plans.
*  Manage the monthly forecasting of capital expenditures by meeting with retail partners and providing Corporate with monthly updates of the capital forecast.
*  Serve as the primary contact person for corporate regarding retail capital.
*  Support real estate by providing ROI analysis for new sites and other real estate strategies.
*  Oversee the capital approval process including preparing the ROI analysis for new capital requests, obtaining Retail and Corporate approval, and distributing approved capital requests to Retail partners.
*  Partner with Corporate to create and distribute activity codes for new capital projects in order to accurately measure actual capital spend against forecasted and budgeted capital.
*  Provide post mortem analysis to measure the success of new business initiatives and new real estate sites against plans and projections.
*  Maintain and upgrade the pro forma template for new store concepts and assumptions.
*  Assist other retail departments with the coding of capital invoices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*  BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
*  Minimum 5 years of financial analysis experience, retail experience preferred.
*  Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees.
*  Strong communication, analytical, critical thinking and presentation skills; including the ability to provide written and verbal direction effectively.
*  Proven leadership ability, as well as strength in building internal cross-functional partnerships.
*  Demonstrated ability to be resourceful, organized, creative and time sensitive when faced with multiple projects or challenging deadlines.
*  Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
*  Lawson and Hyperion knowledge preferred.
