Can exceed 15% based on mill results. Job Information •Lead safety compliance and improvement efforts. •Create "customer delight" and improve product quality. •Ensure machines produce at rates at or above standard rates. •Lead waste reduction efforts. •Track expenses and costs in the production department. Insure the department is adhering to the budget in regards to: •headcount and labor costs •expenses for wires and felts •machine rolls •raw materials usage etc. •Oversee the continual effort in cross-training employees on different tasks. •Leadership in adult behavior and progressive discipline. •Asset management - this position will have full responsibility for the mill capital expenditures and budget. •Foster and develop deputies as per the career development plan. •Plan and execute new products trials.
