Operations Support Specialist

With over $4B in global sales, Stanley is viewed as a world leader in the marketplace. We currently have an opening for a dynamic individual to join our team as an Operations Support Specialist.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Plan, initiate order, track and expedite BEST and Non BEST products in order to meet production schedules and maximize inventory turns. Process orders to include entering the order on Butler and all applicable project status tracking systems.
2. Under the management of the Field Operations Manager, obtain all necessary permits, licenses, and certifications on a timely basis for project completion.
3. Responsible for staging all installation projects on time and with complete accuracy for the local office and any other offices as directed by the FOM. This will include reviewing with the Installation Technician the products staged for the project and any outstanding products/equipment. Obtain proper paperwork to document the issuing of equipment for projects.
4. Responsible for developing and maintaining all files and required paperwork for the installation department. This will include the setup of each folder and filing of the paperwork for the projects, service files and customer files.
5. Responsible for the electronics inventory management tracking and shelving, ensuring that all products are logged, classified and shelved in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Initiate required action for response to customer service request for order changes including the maintenance of order information files, and communicating changes to the appropriate personnel
7. Operate a computer workstation to obtain and extract order information, and provide management with the data for inclusion in various scheduled and special reports.
8. Develop and recommend changes to existing methods and systems to increase the accuracy, efficiency and responsiveness of the electronics department.
9. Prepare, generate and distribute daily reports and order acknowledgments to appropriate personnel.
10. Provide administrative support related to the preparation of invoices for shipments of finished goods.
11. Provide back-up support to other group members in the performance of job duties as necessary.
12. Perform work according to the Field Operations Policy and Procedures Manual.
13. Perform other related duties in support of the office as assigned by management.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Skills or experience with personal computers, including electronic E-mail, personal scheduling, word processing and electronic spreadsheet skills.
• Ability to be customer service orientated.
• Advanced level of knowledge of BEST product lines both mechanical and electronic.
• Ability to professionally handle difficult customers.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Must be detailed orientated.
• Must possess strong problem solving skills.
Education/Experience:
• High School graduate or equivalent with an Associates degree preferred.
• 2 - 3 years’ customer service experience required.
• 2 years purchasing experience preferred
