Twin Rivers Technologies is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Cincinnati team.  Responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

Position: Operations Technician

 

Safety, Appearance, Compliance:

Maintain safety training

Work safely and follow established procedures

Own and maintain a safety system

Maintain appearance and work areas

Support environmental compliance

 

Normal Duties:

Startup, Shutdown and Operate a Chemical Process

Operate pumps, valves, heat exchangers, vacuum systems, towers, reactors

Operate utilities including steam and water systems, hot oil heat transfer systems, compressed air, chillers, cooling towers

Transfer product between tanks or to trucks/railcars as needed

Unload raw materials from trucks/trailers as needed

Perform analyses on process samples to ensure product meets quality

Perform rounds to ensure the equipment and process are operating safely and reliably through making observations, reading gauges, etc

Troubleshoot equipment & process problems

Report variations and defects in the equipment and process operation

Perform routine planned and unplanned maintenance

Support Preventive Maintenance Program as needed by completing assigned work orders

Read and interpret P&ID’s

Cleanout and isolate systems in preparation for maintenance activities

Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned or needed

 

Communication:

Participates in team meetings

Documenting activities in logbooks, rounds sheets, analytical worksheets, etc

Good written and verbal communication skills including use of email

Interface with other functions in the plant including maintenance, quality, logistics, etc

Good teamwork skills

 

Work Hours / Compensation:

7 day operation; 12 hours per shift on days and nights

Other work schedules as needed by the business

Overtime hours as necessary
