Operator C (Entry Level)

Westinghouse Electric Company, Nuclear Fuel, Western Zirconium Plant, located 12 miles west of Ogden, Utah has openings for entry level production operators. We produce and fabricate zirconium metal products for national and international markets.Job duties include:Work in team environment to set up, monitor, adjust and operate various types of manufacturing equipment and processes to produce required material within dimensional specifications and quality standards.Qualified candidates must have:* High school diploma or GED certificate. * Six (6) months production and/or manufacturing experience (may include industrial manufacturing using raw materials and machines, production or assembly line work, farm work and machinery, construction work and automotive repair)* Ability to lift/push/pull 40 lbs. frequently* Work various shifts including nights and weekends* Pass company-paid physical including drug/alcohol screen Westinghouse technology is the basis for nearly half of the world's nuclear power plants.
