Organization Development Specialist

MSA (Mine Safety Appliances Company) is the global leader in the development, manufacture, and supply of sophisticated safety products, instruments, and services that protect people’s health, safety, and the environment.  Our company has an immediate need for an Organization Development Specialist at our Corporate Headquarters.

 

This position reports to the Director, Organizational Development and requires deep subject matter expertise with relation to organizational development.  Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Partnering with managers/employees to support business goals regarding OD programs and responding to needs identified.

· Designing, implementing, and managing performance improvement interventions.

· Facilitating implementation of appropriate change management initiatives.

· Administering the Global @Work Survey.

· Executing training programs on leadership development, management development, change management, interpersonal skills, team development, and communication.

· Other duties as assigned by the Director, Organizational Development.

Special knowledge, skill and abilities required:

· Solid computer skills (MS Office, especially PowerPoint)

· Excellent planning and organizational skills

· Strong communication and presentation skills

· Business acumen

· Project management skills

· Process management/improvement skills

Education and experience required:

· Minimum of 5 years experience in Organization Development and/or Performance Consulting

· B.S. degree in Business, HR, or related field

Preferred:

· HR certification
