PLANT ACCOUNTANT at our facility in Kettering, OH.

Position Summary:

Responsible for analysis and reporting of daily departmental spending and preparing weekly forecasts; managing capital requests, capital forecasts and the capital database; preparing month end journal vouchers and month end reporting schedules; assist with the preparation of the departmental and plant’s annual operating plan; establish and maintain labor routing and assist with establishing standard costs.



Major Duties & Responsibilities:Analyze and prepare daily departmental reporting for supply spending, scrap reporting and labor efficiencies. Preparation of weekly forecasts for the month’s manufacturing expenses. Prepare month end journal entries. Prepare month end financial schedules for reporting to Corporate. Capital coordinator for the facility's capital database. Assist with preparation of Capital Acquisitions Requests (CARs). Prepare monthly forecasts for capital spending. Maintain reporting for financial databases. Establish labor routings for new product launches and maintain existing routings. Assist with development of departmental and plant Annual Operating Plans. Maintain part number standard costs and assist with setting standards for the new year. Contribute to plan profitability by developing and implementing cost reductions projects.



Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting/Finance). 3 years accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficient PC skills with Microsoft Excel, Lotus Notes Databases, and SAP. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent verbal and written skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
