Experience and Educational Requirements:Educational: BA/BS degreeWork experience in: Kaizen (lean, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.), Process flow and Continuous Improvement PlanningWork experience in: Plant, operations management including TQM and process improvement.Computer experience (M/S Word, Excel) ERP Systems, Warehouse Inventory Systems.Prior Automotive/Manufacturing Experience (Tier 1,2) is required.A minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role in a facility as a Plant/Operations Leader or Manager.

Responsibilities:Plan, develop & establish objectives to assure standardized optimal operating practices are deployed throughout the facility.Directly supervises the Materials, Quality, Human Resource, Engineering and Finance.Directs the recruitment, training and development of an efficient Management Team.Train/mentor/enforce Process flow “Circle of Lifeâ€�Full responsibility of P&L activity for facility.Conduct P&L review with Director of Operations, Regional Managers and VP.Implement and monitor compliance on all company policies, safety and housekeeping standards.Make decisions that will have significant impact on the business of the company in terms of cost, schedules and customer relationships.Ensures all employee health & safety programs are established and maintained.Troubleshoot issues and immediately enacts contingency plan as needed.Research/Analyze operations using the appropriate methodology with recommendation/implementation of new methods as deemed appropriate in order to benefit from a Continuous Improvement Model.Ability to work in a union and non-union environment.
