PLANT PROCESS & MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Requirements Candidate must have strong knowledge in the process of steel making with ultra high power electric arc furnace utilizing jet burners and coke injection.  Candidate must have necessary know how for best practices to reduce tap to tap time, prolong refractory life, and conservation of electrical energy and improvement of yield. Candidate must have good knowledge in continuous casting machine performance such as control of break out, rhomboid and blow holes. Candidate should understand material selection for all process such as ferro alloy, refractory for furnace and tundish electrodes and nozzles. Candidate should have experience in overseeing the overall mechanical, electrical and electronic systems of the plant.  Candidate needs to have the experience and understanding to ensure minimal plant downtimes and the effective deployment of manpower and tasks during plant scheduled shut downs. Expected production per day is a minimum of 24 heats. Contract for a minimum of two years. 15 years or more of relevant experience. Four year degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred from a United States accredited institution.   Company: System One Location: US-NC-Charlotte Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Project/Program Management Relevant Work Experience: More than 15 Years Career Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Education: Bachelor's Degree Company: System One Email: Apply by Email
