PRODUCT CATEGORY MANAGER

Technical Concepts, LLC is a rapidly growing global manufacturer of innovative hygiene products for the away-from-home marketplace and has recently been acquired by Newell Rubbermaid (Rubbermaid Commercial Products).  Located at our headquarters in Mundelein, IL, we have an immediate need for an experienced Product Category Manager for our cleaning systems.  The successful candidate will have the ability to proactively champion the assigned categories while developing demand creation programs and maximizing product system profitability.

 

The role entails implementing TC’s branding standards, understanding category P&L, understanding market trends, analyzing and tracking competitive activities, leading line extension initiatives, managing packaging and graphic needs, and creating marketing campaigns and promotions.  The role also entails leading training program development, participating in new product development teams, managing field test processes and interpretation of product performance data and reports.

 

The successful candidate will have strong B-to-B marketing and product category management experience, including new product launches, have proven business acumen, be a self-starter and be able to work effectively in a team environment.  Bachelor's degree (chemistry preferred) plus a minimum of 5+ years related experience required.
