We are an equal opportunity employer. To act as a liaison between the ITTR (improved time of response) teams, the plant and the Central Engineering function in Huddersfield. The role is to be focused on the support of activities related to the launch of MR and HD product for all customers served by the Leeds Avenue and Palmetto facilities. Work with customers, service/warranty, plant, SQI & central engineering support functions to resolve any quality &/or related design & application issues with current product.Failure Analysis: Primary responsibilities to investigate customer (BIS) test and field (AIS)failures to determine root cause and initiate corrective action. Ensure all failures are tracked and progressed cross functionally. Support ITTR across MR and HD product range to ensure robust solutions can be implemented in effective manner. Training: Provide product knowledge training to Cummins Turbo Technologies Charleston employees, as needed.Functional Excellence: Input into systems to meet the requirements for CPS functional excellence in Product Development Engineering as they apply to the Charleston Plants. Provide input into processes & procedures to improve timeliness and accuracy of root cause definition.
