JOB SUMMARY

 

Serves as product specialist in Technical Services, acting as the “go-to” resource for technical matters. Develops training programs and investigates product quality issues as required

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Provides operational and technical training on Bunn and other manufacturer’s Commercial Beverage Equipment for customers, Bunn personnel and 3rd party service providers. This may include formal, informal or web-based training formats as appropriate.Leads the development of Technical Training Programs.Develops training plans to support new equipment releases and BUNNserve Installation Programs.Investigates product quality issues using equipment failure data from all available sources.Performs on-site troubleshooting of Bunn Commercial Beverage Equipment and provides feedback to appropriate Bunn personnel to ensure timely and appropriate resolution to equipment or operational issues.Communicates accurate and timely information both to and from customers.

7.  Participates in the development and implementation of Customer Support programs such as:

·  BUNNserve programs

·  Sales initiatives

·  Technical training meetings

8.  Travels as required for training and resolution of customer issues, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Bunn equipment.

9.  Actively promotes Bunn Quality Initiative through participation in Bunn Process Improvement Teams.

10.  Performs other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Two years of college or vocational training in electrical/mechanical areas or equivalent experience. In-depth knowledge of computer programs, including Windows and Microsoft applications, with a focus on software tools used in the development of presentation materials, including graphics programs, Power Point, Adobe Illustrator, etc.  Ability to service all Bunn equipment; in-depth knowledge of all Bunn product lines; good communication skills; ability to travel; good organizational skills with attention to detail; highly motivated and goal oriented.
