PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Fundamental Duties

§ The Production Coordinator is accountable for the productivity of the floor, and should be capable of scheduling and monitoring the process flow necessary to achieve metric targets.

§ The production Coordinator is responsible for maintaining quality in the department and providing feedback to employees in regards to quality.

§ Must be able to locate and understand all pertinent information on contracts, including order number, production and ship dates, shipping method, sales region, etc.

§ Communicate ideas and information to the on duty supervisor on a daily basis.

§ Work from the daily schedule and be sure that daily activity is properly prioritized.

§ Work with managers and supervisors to provide the required resources to handle the daily workload.

§ Ensure that the proper documentation and packaging instructions are available in the department.

§ Provide training and support for production workers.

  Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the production floor.

  Responsible for maintaining a good hand off with clear lines of communication with the next shift
