Growing Long Beach manufacturing company seeks Production Supervisor

Description of Duties:

- Manage duties of employees working in assembly or manufacturing section
- Manage production activity to ensure compliance with all specifications so that product meets quality
- standards
- Plan and assign work
- Implement procedures and policies
- Recognize and solve problems affecting production, including schedules, staff, and quality
- Supervise employee performance
- Suggest methods for improving production, equipment, processes or operating conditions

Requirements:

- Candidate must be bilingual Spanish
- High School graduate plus apprenticeship
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Lean manufacturing and KanBan experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Computer literate
- Organized
