Breyer Animal Creations (www.breyerhorses.com ) is an award-winning manufacturer and marketer of the finest equestrian-themed toys, gifts and collectibles.  For over 55 years, we have developed a brand reputation that is second to none, and pride ourselves on our quality, innovation, and service.  As we look to the future, we are seeking bright, enthusiastic people to join our team.  We currently have an opportunity for a Promotional Events Coordinator in our Marketing Communications Department, located in Pequannock, New Jersey.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:In collaboration with manager, develop, produce and administer brand-building events and marketing promotions at various locations around the country, with the goal of achieving high attendance, strong product sales and brand affinity.Special emphasis on event management and logistics. Represent the company at promotional events, and manage several key areas at our company’s annual consumer festival (BreyerFest). Assist with the general marketing of Breyer's field activities.Write effective marketing copy for hobby and trade manuals, event programs, web site and more. Assist with assessment of potential sponsorship opportunities and handle several programs independently. Assist with administrative tasks of all varieties, such as filing, correspondence, reports, and records maintenance. Manage shipping, promotional event equipment, and give-aways.Some travel is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:BA/BS in Marketing or related field1 – 3 years of progressively responsible event management experience – preferably in consumer promotional events Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detailAbility to communicate clearly and effectively both within the company and without, including endors, volunteers, and consumers Ability to work well under pressure.  Deadline urgency is critical. Energetic and flexibleExcellent computer skills, including MS Office programs.  Photoshop and Illustrator skills helpful.Valid Driver’s license required.Equestrian background is required
