Packaging Machinery Specialist

My client is a rapidly growing packaging solutions company who are on track to double their sales numbers within three years. With over 30 plants located nationally, my client provides their customers with a world-class level of performance and service. They are currently seeking a Process Technician/Sales Engineer (preferably based out of Chicagoland).

The successful candidate will have 3 to 5 years of proven experience providing technical and sales support to flexible packaging customers. My client prefers that applicants live in or near the Chicago area.  However, more important is technical knowledge of flexible packaging systems: shrink, horizontal and vertical form, fill and seal systems, stretch, bundling, taping systems, blister, bubble, films, pallet overwrap systems, etc. Specifically, you will travel (60-80%) to support customers in the installation, maintenance and sales growth of packaging systems, therefore proven technical and communication skills will be paramount.
