Packaging Operator - 2nd Shift

SummaryThis 2nd shift position involves packaging machine operation, which includes but is not limited to tablet fillers, labelers, thermoformers, cartoners, and case packers. Second shift operates on 10 hour shifts, Monday thru Thursday currently starting at 2:45pm and offers a shift premium ($1.00/hour) as part of the total compensation package. The salary range for this position is $11.00-$15.00/hour with opportunities for advancement.Duties and Responsibilities- Performs packaging operations according to Batch Production Record specifications - Accurately and clearly completes all required documentation related to batch documentation - Assembles, disassembles and cleans equipment and process rooms according to SOP's - Adherence to OSHA regulations and plantwide policies - Maintains a clean and orderly work area - Accomplishes basic operation of computer controlled equipment - Regularly completes tasks as assigned to meet production schedules. - Embraces quality practices RequirementsOperators must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. and work in a team environment with changing assignments. They must be able to clearly complete documentation related to production orders. They should also be able to assemble and disassemble pharmaceutical grade equipment. Previous pharmaceutical experience and knowledge of cGMP's are a plus. A High School diploma or GED and good communication skills are also preferred.
