Position Summary:

NOTE : This role absolutely requires at least one (1) year demonstrated, hands-on experience in...and solid knowledge of a HIGH-SPEED PACKAGING environment (preferably consumer goods or related manufacturing).

Located at the Wheeling Hidden Valley Ranch plant northwest of Chicago, Illinois, the person in this role will...
[1] Be responsible for supporting daily problem solving efforts and help, institute, monitor and refine processes/ systems which will aid in operator development and effective long-term problem elimination.
[2] Be responsible for promoting a continuous improvement culture as well as initiating, justifying and implementing cost reduction & efficiency initiatives using project management and leadership skills to execute these projects.
[3] Lead Autonomous Maintenance, Focused Improvement, and Kaizen teams to deliver measurable and sustainable improvements.
[4] Provide support to the other Plant Departments to help ensure that the Plant meets or exceeds all Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Cost goals


Required Qualifications:
- BS or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing setting, minimum 1 year experience in a
HIGH-SPEED PACKAGING ENVIRONMENT.
- Solid mechanical and analytical skills-problem solve and drive improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and as an individual contributor.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact, influence, and communicate with multiple levels of the
organization.
- Planning and organizing - efficient work, prioritize, develop a plan and execute.
- Ability to work off shifts as required for training or monitoring.
- Computer skills i.e. MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
Manage and provide direction to Plant Training and Qualification resource.
