Job ID: 12935Position Description:Process improvement and analysis of quarterly, monthly and on demand tax reporting. Develop new processes related to major responsibilities. Represent the Company to outside vendors according to major responsibilities and administer programs affiliated with vendors. Create customized reports and metrics according to Company needs.Responsibilities:-Systematically analyze tax data on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Evaluate discrepancies through scheduled reconciliations, offer solutions and amend system. -Execute quarterly UI files and system analysis when needed for state filing requirement -Drive year end W2 analysis and adjustment process as an integral team member -Identify requests and develop accurate reports using tools available in SAP which include BW, Ad Hoc Query, wage type reporter or payroll reconciliation reports-Responsible for payroll department reporting internal to the department-Create, develop and analyze metrics for the payroll department.-Generate and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual reports for PST data and calculations. Perform non-discrimination testing for the Company’s PST plan.-Program, analyze and modify (according to requests) Risk Management reports on regular basis.-Initiate proactive involvement with partners to identify projects, data analysis and process improvement.-Perform special projects as necessaryPosition Requirements:-Bachelor degree required or equivalent.-3 to 4 years experience in a reporting and analysis environment.-Strong analytical and problem solving skills are requisites for this position.-Proficient in report writing and analysis using BW, Adhoc query, Focus reporting.-PST subject matter experience is extremely advantageous-Advanced PC knowledge is a requisite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and downloading, uploading files to/from database.-Well-developed interpersonal skills are needed to sustain and develop excellent relationships with both internal and external partners-Experience with automated Human Resources management/Payroll systems is essentialGrainger is a Fortune 500 company and the leading broad line supplier of facilities maintenance products serving businesses and institutions throughout North America with sales of over $5 billion.
