Payroll Clerk

Job Description:SUMMARY OF POSITION:The Payroll Clerk is responsible for performing tasks pertaining to the payroll function. Prepares checks for the organization, computes and prepares calculations or special checks for overtime, bonus pay, vacation pay and termination pay. The Payroll Clerk is also responsible for the tracking of material waste, and the preparation and distribution of daily reports on GAP, daily labor and sales. This is a part time role.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Track employee information and assist in keeping all data current. Run payroll and audit employee payroll to ensure all personnel are compensated correctly. Prepare and distribute GAP Report, Daily Labor Summary, and Daily Sales Report. Ensure monthly commission report is received from Sales Manager and commissions are paid. Track employee attendance, pay increases, department MPS grading and disciplinary actions and provide report to management monthly, or as requested. Manage petty cash account, distribute per authorized requests.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position.
