LC Industries, a multi-site manufacturing, distribution and retail operations, is seeking a

 

Payroll Coordinator

 

to join our Durham, NC team.

 

 

Primary Responsibility:  Calculate and enter payroll information to process payroll in a timely manner.  This includes: Figure pay for piece rates, incentive, etc; Collect and verify payroll data in system; Verify payroll checks upon receipt and distribute; Balance all payroll work; Verify and post all payroll entries in the system; Interact with co-workers in a cooperative and professional manner; Report and provide information on garnishments and wage verifications; Provide reports to appropriate mangers. 

 

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Two years in payroll processing (multi-state preferable); Payroll certification preferred. Must have good business communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with managers and co-workers. Must have strong computer skills, attention to detail and approach work in meticulous and thorough manner.  Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and possess a professional demeanor.
