 Responsibilities

 

 

The overall objective of this position is to manage and implement the Point Eight Power hiring process.

 

The key responsibilities of this position include:

§ Review applications and resumes.  Assess candidates’ qualifications, matching candidates with available positions.



§ Schedule interviews, drug screens and physical exams.



§ Familiarize candidates with Point Eight Power benefits and HR policies.



§ Interview candidates at the request of the hiring manager.



§ Manage and maintain the hiring/interviewing process.

 Requirements and Qualifications

 

Interpersonal Skills:Good verbal and written communication skills. Personable and approachable by all.  Able to relate well to others.

 

Intrapersonal Skills:Outgoing personality.  Organized.  Detail oriented.  Must be able to professionally handle all types of sensitive and confidential information.  Analytical.

 

Technical Experience:Working knowledge of Word and Excel / spreadsheets. Quick learner of any type of technology.  Experience with applicant tracking and behavior based assessment programs preferred.

 

Experience:0-1 years experience with recruiting and hiring processes, including regulatory compliance activities.

 

Education:High school degree or equivalent required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred in a business related field.  Human Resources certifications (PHR or SPHR) preferred.

 

Other:  Willingness to travel when required.
