As the metro market leader in both SONET and ROADM technology, the fundamental building blocks of next-generation networks, Fujitsu is helping customers take networking beyond convergence. Lead design and development engineer of indoor and outside plant cabinet and central office rack design.Generate manufacturing documentation, drawings, purchase specifications, etc. per the Fujitsu Standards.Responsible for the overall development project coordination.  Responsibilities also include interpreting customer requirements, specification of system components, and documentation of configuring and verification of compliance criteria.Responsible for Thermal and Structual Analysis.Responsible and accountable for analysis, associated testing and selection of equipment and materials. Use of Flotherm and Ansys tools for Thermal and Structural analysis respectively. Create models for analysis and maintain associated data. Document and present results of analysis for both internal and external review. Responsible for Thermal testing, fixturing and analyzing test results.  Make in-test adjustments to maximize efficiency and minimize cost.  

Candidate must work well independently and as part of an integrated team.  Candidate should have strong interpersonal and communication skills. BS or Engineering degree is required.Educational level- BS Field of study- Mechanical Engineering Additional specialized courses- CAD Minimum 5+ years of experience Skills and abilities- Computer Familiarity with the following equipment- UNIX, Pro/E, Flotherm
