This position requires the candidate to be able to oversee and manage shipments originating from Burns Harbor, Gary West, and Processors/Warehouses shipping ArcelorMittal material. When notified must get involved with appropriate vendors/suppliers and internal/external sales and customer service representatives to expedite or get shipment moving. Shipments are delayed for many reasons such as damage, improper or incomplete paper documentation, overloads, reconsignments, diversions, etc. Must be able to analyze costs and keep detailed records.  Will also back up Transportation Supervisor when necessary and will be assigned special projects from time to time. Experience Requirements:

Minimum/Basic Requirements:
2-years logistics and transportation experience in an industrial environment 
Preferred Requirements:
5 to 10 years logistics and transportation experience in an industrial environment
Education Requirements:
 
Minimum/Basic Requirements:
A high school diploma with significant experience.
