Planner/Buyer Parker Hannifin - a World Class Motion and Control Manufacturing Company has an immediate need for a full-time Planner/Buyer at our Manitowoc, Wisconsin facility.  This position is within our Customs Unit.Position Summary:The Planner will assist with the planning, scheduling and monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle.  The Planner coordinates the movement of materials through production with materials planning, procurement and supply chain staff.  The position will report to the supervisor of the customs area.  This Buyer portion will be responsible for commodities or assignments requiring application of basic purchasing principles, theories and concepts.  The Buyer ensures timely acquisitions of product or service from known sources of supply.  Additionally, the Buyer may resolve issues in the areas of requisition accuracy and completeness, on-time delivery or supplier payment functioning in a closely supervised environment.Function:Maintain a variety of schedules, records, and reports pertaining the tracking of materials through the production cycle and availability of production resources.  Assists in executing requisite system transactions needed to support the receipt, storage and transferring of material.  Assists with the monitoring of inventory levels generating tracking reports and performing data entry as required.  Identifies and recommends suppliers by investigating potential suppliers, researching parts, equipment, machinery, services and materials availability.We offer a very competitive compensation package and an outstanding benefits package including:  Profit Sharing, Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, Paid Holidays, 401 (k), Life Insurance, Short & Long Term Disability and Paid Vacation.An Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/V  Drug Free Workplace - Hair Testing Required.
