Planner/Scheduler

We are currently seeking a Planner / Scheduler to join our highly skilled manufacturing team at our Orchard Street facility located in Milwaukee, WI.

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

· The Planner/Scheduler at P&H Mining will review material resource planning (MRP) signals for purchased commodities relating to the Orchard Street manufacturing facility.

· Responsible for converting planned orders into purchase requisitions, and will partner with the P&H Mining purchasing department and external vendors for coordination on stocking programs within the Orchard Street facility.

· Maintain inventory accuracy by administering a cycle count program. Maintain material master and with bill of material (BOM) data.

· Will participate in the Engineering Release Notification (ERN) process for electrical products manufactured at Orchard Street.

· Other Material Management and Production Control related tasks may be assigned as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

· A Bachelor's degree in Materials Management, Production Control, or Operations Management. Equivalent work experience would be considered.

· The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong knowledge of MRP, planned orders, material master data, bills of material, and inventory control techniques.  Previous interaction with purchasing/buying functions is a plus.

· Strong interpersonal skills, both oral and written, are required in order to interact effectively with internal customers.  Proven ability to effectively communicate and build effective cooperative working relationships is needed.

· APICS certification is a plus.

· Strong computer skills are also needed
