We are pleased to announce a Planning Resource opportunity in our Calistoga, CA location. Description:Create Master Production Schedules that maximize and balance plant/warehouse capacity while meeting all customer demand. Main job responsibilities:-Create and control Master Production Schedule that maximized production capabilities while balancing demand of a rolling forecast.-Perform detailed capacity assessments that identify gaps and create plans to optimize utilization.-Oversee and manage all activities performed by Raw Material Analyst(s)-Prepare and maintain detailed production schedules coordinated with manufacturing, marketing, and sales to facilitate superior customer service.-Coordinate product availability within the supply chain, customer service, and marketing functions.-Develop short and long- term capacity models that will be used to develop budgets.-Maintain expertise in systems knowledge and recommend new procedures to enhance the performance of the planning and scheduling system.-Provide scheduling and demand history reports on an as needed basis.-Create and analyze spreadsheets, charts, graphs and reports relating to backorders, inventory, fill rates and other critical business issues.-Maintain, control, and execute master raw material plan.-All other duties as assigned. The ideal applicant will demonstrate the following attributes:-Three to five years of experience in scheduling and capacity planning-Proficient in MS Access, Excel, and Microsoft Office-Experience in SAP is preferable-Demonstrated ability to negotiate and arrive at win/win solutions-Advanced organization skills and excellent follow-up skills-Ability to communicate and interface proficiently on computer, phone, and in person to work cross functionally within multiple departments-Self Starter who requires minimal direct supervision-Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment-Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal and leadership skills-Reliable, motivated, dedicated, and committedThis is a tremendous opportunity in a continuously growing organization.
