Planning Supervisor

Basic Function (Purpose of Position):Responsible for the creation and analysis of daily and monthly reports to monitor inventory accuracy and investment.  Responsible for the review of inventory policies and procedures to insure adherence. Responsible for supervising daily activities and Planning Department employee(s).Duties Develops inventory reports and analysis as required.. Reviews inventory usage and the determination of the economic reorder point and economic order quantity based on past usage, current forecast and circumstances unique to the product on a daily basis. Analyzes MTO/MTS status of products and aligns inventory positions accordingly.  Supervises day-to-day activities, work load, schedules, responsibilities of site Requestor and/or Planners.Requirements Running Reports and anylizing data is key.  Position will also supervise one Buyer.  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field with a minimum of four years of experience in inventory control in a manufacturing enviornment.  Two years supervisory experience.Please send resume in word format to brendaschuttinger@mergisgroup.com   Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
