The Position

Open Because: Previous HR Manager retired after being there 30 years.

Reports To: Senior HR Manager directly; VP and Manager of Manufacturing indirectly

Employees: Will cater to approx. 500+ union employees and 75+ management and office staff employees


Duties:

• Organizational Development
• Coaching Supervisors
• Employee/Labor Relations
• Recruitment
• Performance and Compensation Management
• Employee Communications
• Safety Management
• EEO, ADA, COBRA and FMLA Compliance

Requirements

Experience:

• 5 years HR generalist experience
• Union manufacturing environment heavily preferred.

Skills: 

• Strong collaboration, facilitation and leadership skills needed
• Must possess solid communication and organizational skills
• Ability to research and analyze information required
• Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel as well as experience with HRIS systems

Education:  4-year degree in HR or related field required

Other:

• Knowledge HR principles, practices and procedures
• Active listener
• Ability to exercise judgment, use discretion and demonstrate unquestionable ethics and values.

Compensation
Salary Range: Begin to $95,000 or more, DOE + excellent benefits
