Plant Project Engineer - Experience with design/fab/install of new equipment required

The Project, Facilities and Environmental Engineer is responsible for corporate-wide compliance with EPA and OSHA requirements, as well as, working with Maintenance in both facilities to plan, and execute projects of all kinds covering capital installations, up grades and repairs.  This individual will coordinate and plan with local resources the purchase, installation and timely completion of all new capital projects or significant equipment modifications.  This position also has to support or lead Emergency Coordinator duties and facility fire/security programs.Required will be a solid working knowledge of manufacturing systems, ERP and MRP computer systems. Additionally, the individual must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to manage and motivate people in the workplace, possess a good understanding of business fundamentals / financials, be able to understand technical and business applications, and be able to work long hours at a high rate of performance.  The individual must also be a self starter, flexible thinker, open to new practices and techniques, have a solid understanding of modern manufacturing  techniques, and be able to execute his /her plans.Work ExperienceMinimum of 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible work experience in a manufacturing organization with knowledge and understanding of project engineering, materials; scheduling; quality; maintenance engineering OHSA, EPA Predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
