Job Description:  A small manufacturing company in Delaware County has an opening for an Operations Manager. We are looking for a self starter with a good work ethic who has the ability to perform their responsibilities unsupervised. The ideal candidate must possess sound reasoning skills when faced with out of the ordinary situations. This individual should also have the ability to bring fresh ideas and think outside the box for ways to improve procedures and contribute to the growth of our facility.

 

Duties & Responsibilities Creating production orders and planning the production schedule Scheduling shipments Managing raw materials Supervising shift operations of 6-10 people Hands on assistance with associates when needed

 

Requirements: 2-3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Computer experience, preferably with manufacturing software Must be a self starter and can perform duties without supervision Ability to reason through situations and develop sound solutions 18 months of continuous employment with one employer during the last 3 years Pass a Drug Screen Pass a Background Check (No Felonies) Provide Proof of Eligibility to work in the U.S.
