PWP Industries is looking for a Polypropylene Manager for its West Virginia facility.

Summary of Position:

Manage, direct and coordinate polypropylene operations to meet established goals in production, safety and quality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Direction of hourly production and set up personnel in the Polypropylene extrusion and thermoforming departmentsImplement production schedules for extrusion and thermoforming Training of personnel in the PP departmentImplement a Preventative maintenance program for the departmentMaterial procurementStandardize manufacturing methodologies and processes through the development and implementation of Best Practices and assure effectiveness through training and auditing.Drive continuous improvement through the identification and successful implementation of projects focused on improving bottom-line performance of the manufacturing department. Ensure that the responsibilities, authorities and accountability of all direct reports are defined and understood. Monitor production metrics (run efficiency, uptime, and scrap rates, and machine utilization) and ensure they maintain or exceed established goals.  Implement strategies to change PP plant operations in order to achieve these goals.Confer with subordinates and other plant personnel to comply with federal, state and local safety standards as well as those established by the company. Perform managerial duties related to personnel decisions, including, but not limited to; writing and conducting performance evaluations, disciplinary and termination decisions, and work assignments.Hands on management style a must5+ years extrusion and thermoforming processing experience required
