Keeps production equipment ready for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules on equipment; following diagrams, schematics, manuals and instructions.Sets up production equipment by completing equipment changeovers. (Actuator banks, DCOP, etc.)Enhances equipment performance by installing modifications, making adjustments; recommending improvements.Maintains equipment historical reference by documenting actions.Minimizes downtime by performing minor repairs, works with Machine Maintenance personnel to resolve malfunctions.Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.Maintains technical knowledge by attending education workshops; reviewing manuals and establishing personal networks.Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's operation and maintenance instructions and established procedures; calling for repairs.Maintains company quality standards and service levels by meeting or exceeding departmental standards.Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.Supports operations and contributes to team results by performing other production or related jobs as required.QualificationsKnowledge of machine tools and their use, ability to read and understand manuals and schematicsStrong problem-solving skillsMechanical aptitudeAbility to perform work with a high level of acuracy; detail oriented; ability to handle multiple priorities.High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious mechanical training or experience preferredDrug screen and background check required.
