Process Engineer

The Process Engineer will provide daily support in the Power and Recovery area, assist in troubleshooting equipment related problems, and assist in prioritizing maintenance. The Engineer will analyze and report reliability issues and asset availability to reliability engineering and senior management.  The Process Engineer will also identify needs for Root Cause Failure Analysis and develop and support planned machine outages and preventive/proactive maintenance. This is an opportunity to impact the bottom-line and gain high visibility through a direct reporting structure.

 

 

Requirements:

 BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.2+ years experience in Power and Recovery operations in a Pulp and Paper manufacturing environment.Proven equipment troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.In-depth technical knowledge to perform root cause analysis.Proven leadership and facilitation skills.Proven ability to analyze production loss and reliability data.Track record of successful interaction with all levels of an organization especially with operators in collaborative work teams.Strong written and verbal communication, planning, and organization skills.Proven ability to develop and implement improvement processes and projects.Proven ability to build strategic and practical plans to support a business vision.
