A Japanese manufacture company in La Mirada is seeking a qualified candidate who has experience as Process Engineer.

DIVISION: Engineering & Manufacturing

Salary: $14/hr ~ $20/hr (DOE)

Time: 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday to Friday

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform a variety of engineering work in developing the manufacturing processes of new products and make improvements to existing products. Work closely with other members of the engineering staff to ensure that production is completed in timely manner. Work closely with design engineers and production to increase production quality, efficiency, or volume.

Familiar with a variety of the manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures. Must have shown specific ability in investigating and resolving manufacturing problems and questions.

 POSITION RESPONSOBILITIES

· Participates in the design phases of engineering projects to insure parts manufacturability.

· Create process instructions and process routers.

· Responsible for process cost issues, and evaluate the process to reduce existing cost.

· Production floor machines evaluation and effective usage.

· Design manufacturing jigs and fixture.

· Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.

 KNOWLEDGE

· Associate degree in area of specialty, minimum

· Manufacturing techniques, material processing, cost reduction.

· Jigs and fixtures design.

· Materials, Tolerances

· AutoCAD and/or Solid Works

· MS Excel, Word

 EXPIRIENCE

· 2 years in the field or related area preferred
