Therapeutic apheresis is a process removing disease mediators or disease-carrying media from the patient. Cell therapies is the collection of blood cells, including peripheral blood stem cells and monocytes, from a patient or donor’s blood stream, then processing and re-infusing as a part of various treatments.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Create, manage, coordinate and successfully execute project plans generated by Business Process Improvement initiatives. Manage, prioritize, and coordinate project activities for the Business Process Improvement function. Assist with process improvement methodology and tools. Position provides process and project leadership in an existing or changing/emerging environment. Communicates important milestones and achievements as it relates to projects.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED/QUALIFICATIONS:

· Knowledge required to perform at this level is generally acquired through completion of a college degree with a minimum of 5-10 years experience in project management application, of which a minimum of 3 years was in a senior project management or leadership role.

· Demonstrated ability to accept personal accountability and ownership for areas of responsibility. Pursue solutions and make decisions with a sense of urgency.

· Demonstrated ability to initiate, promote, and exhibit team-oriented behavior.

· Dedicated to quality customer service and proactive and responsive to customer needs. Takes initiative to understand customers and their environment.

· Knowledge of and experience with project management disciplines, methodology and tools.

· Knowledge of and experience with process improvement methodologies and tools.

· Requires flexibility to adapt to and willingness to learn new tools, methodologies and technologies.

· Requires ability and willingness to work on multiple projects at one time and be able to adapt to changing priorities.

· Requires ability to work with team members to deliver on time, on budget and with measurable quality.

· Demonstrated ability to effectively create and execute project plans.

· Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage project teams.

· Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain the overall project vision and strategy while managing the tactical details/activities.

· Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment and adjust to changes.

· PMI certification preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Create and execute product support plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

· Tracks organization-wide metrics on the state of project management, project delivery and the value of being provided to the business.

· Maintains and communicates accurate reports of project time and expenses.

· Partners with all HR Managers to successfully implement projects.

· Effectively manage communications, expectations and interactions with all departments.

· Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors.

· Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.

· Resolve and/or escalate project-related issues in a timely fashion.

· Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

· Demonstrate conflict management skill; reading situation quickly, stepping up and using as opportunities; finding common ground and getting cooperation with minimum noise.

· Consistently acknowledge each team member's contributions.

· Effectively utilize each team member to accomplish the project objectives

· Motivate project team to work together in the most efficient manner.

· Keep track of lessons learned and share those lessons with team members.

· Mitigate team conflict and communication problems.
