Processing Manager

Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Manufacturing/Production/Operations Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) CONTACT INFORMATION Processing Manager The Production Manager will be responsible for development and implementation of the weekly plant schedule with the Planning Department as well as the development of short & long term production strategies making efficient use of plant resources. Overall responsibility to effectively communicate to teams and support departments. Establish and maintain departmental goals and objectives with appropriate measures to support the Waxdale business. Coach and mentor teams on all three shifts in Bldg. 59 & 65 Processing Plants. Recognize areas for change and improvement, provide solutions and lead execution of changes in Processing Plant areas. Actively participate in all project and improvement processes. Communicate effectively with other functional areas (i.e.Packaging,Planning HR, Quality, Plant Mgt. and other resources to ensure optimum customer service. Ability to manage projects from conception through implementation. Work effectively with change and organizational development. Manufacturing Management with work team experience skills required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a high motivation. Chemical Engineering skills and experience in a plant/manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years experience in chemical processing, manufacturing and/or operations management. Effectively coach & mentor teams, in professional and personal skill development including hiring process & performance management. Actively participate in Waxdale Mgt. Team building and Team development activities. Experience/Skills: Minimum 5 years experience in chemical processing, manufacturing and/or operations management. Familiarity with Wonderware Control Systems preferred.
