Responsible for the development and maintenance of the site inventory plan and materials and services procurement strategies to support the production of fiber blades as presented in the master plan schedule.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Review the various Queues in the appropriate company electronic system for data
such as buyer backlog or re-order notices.
Generate and analyze data to recognize trends, optimize inventory levels.
Disposition Surplus materials.
Issue Releases to Blanket Purchase Orders (PO’s) and processes straight – Purchase Orders
within authorized limits.
Manage supplier relationships, assist in the development of supplier performance metrics &
systems.
Monitor and improve the performance of each supplier specifically related to expediting, past-due
purchase orders, on-time delivery and Vendor-Managed or Vendor-Owned Inventory.
Liaison between: Accounts Payable, warehouse, supplier, and internal customer to investigate and
correct mismatches and errors between purchase orders, invoices and receivers to ensure timely
and accurate payment to supplier.
Manage the procurement process including the selection of suppliers, bid requests, quotation
evaluations, and final supplier selection as a member of a multi-disciplined procurement team.
Resolve purchase order exceptions.6. Investigate material needs not in passport database.
Create new catalog item.
Ensure parts identified meet the requirements of the task using right parts selection process.
Establish testing criteria for material qualification.
Part Quality Initiative.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
High School Diploma Minimum – In addition, minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience
required, preferably in automobile, .
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Management (or related field) preferred in
addition to a strong mechanical and/or electrical background.
Working knowledge of the Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable modules of SAP.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to implement significant change in systems, practices, and procedures.
Strong PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, SAP Inventory & Purchasing modules, Visio,
Project).
Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects or activities, as well as work independently
with limited direction.

JOB SCOPE
Responsible for managing the purchasing activities.
Based on this magnitude of responsibility this job requires an independent, self-motivated, self
managed individual with the ability to make pro-active decisions to ensure that all material
requirements are met.
This job is directly responsible for the supply of materials required for Blades production to
maintain the reliability of inventory.
This involves the routine interaction between our main internal customer – Manufacturing and Sub-
contractors – and other supply personnel to ensure accurate and timely delivery of material.
This position is involved throughout the entire material process – ordering material, delivery of
material, and ensuring product meets standards.
This job also supports the Strategic Sourcing objectives for Gamesa Wind US which includes, but is
not limited to: alliance partnerships to ensure consistent quality of material and timely delivery, price
savings, and overall supply chain improvements.
This position supports these objectives by maintaining ongoing communications with suppliers in
order to ensure benchmark performance and their subsequent impact on the Gamesa Wind US
system; maintain integrity of blanket purchase orders – material reference numbers, prices, units of
measurement, re-ordering quantities, and delivery schedules as needed by production needs and
planning.
The successful performance of this role involves interaction across Gamesa Wind US organizations
that impact supply management components such as: design, planning and the implementation of
jobs/projects.
There are also weekly and monthly performance indicators that measure/track the material
availability and inventory levels which assist in the measurement of success.
