Procurement Manager

Fantastic Procurement Manager Opportunity SE Wisconsin Area Work with a dedicated, creative and distinctive organization that is capable of innovating products that enhance the lives and safety of people around the world. Candidate RequirementsØ We seek an individual with 6+ years of operations, procurement or purchasing management experience in a global company that has European, Asian and North American local manufacturing plants and/or distribution facilities. Ø Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, with an area of concentration in Operations, Manufacturing Management or EngineeringØ A blend of experience in managing exempt procurement professionals as well as doing some of the day to day hands on procurement planning and negotiations.Ø Global or regional supply chain planning and management experience. As well as knowledge of low cost sourcing options particularly with a key focus in Asia.Ø Working knowledge of ERP systems, SAP system knowledge preferred.Ø Experience in the developing and improving the purchase ordering processes.Ø Experience in the various customs/import/export rules and processes as goods are moved around the world to various manufacturing or distribution facilities around the regions of the world.Ø Individual should have proven track record of success in managing improvements in these areas Ø Experience and ability to work across business units in an organization to build teamwork and get results.Ø  Must be flexible, a fast learner and good problem solver. Ø Very good to excellent written and verbal communications skills required. Ø CPM certification.
