Product Engineer

Woods, headquartered in Oregon, IL, manufactures top quality attachments and genuine replacement parts for the agricultural, landscape, and light construction markets. In March, 2007, Woods Equipment consolidated both the Schofield, WI and Gardner, MA operations into a newly constructed state of the art facility in Kronenwetter, WI. This facility is one of the country's largest suppliers of loader buckets, excavator buckets, backhoe buckets, mining buckets, hydraulic and mechanical couplers, and other construction equipment attachments bearing the CF, Wain-Roy, Gannon and BMP names. Woods' equipment is known for its outstanding quality and performance.

Under limited supervision, responsibilities include providing the company with innovative, high quality new and revised products for manufacture and sale to meet customer needs. The successful candidate will develop specific phases of projects such as analysis, design, fabrication and testing, technical publications and specifications documentation; assist other departments such as marketing in developing new product programs, service by answering customer inquiries, purchasing by approving alternate sources or deviations, manufacturing by helping to solve manufacturing problems to reduce scrap and improve productivity.

Requirements-  Bachelor's degree in a mechanical engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.  Three to five years related experience. Previous experience with Solidworks required.
